Moin Moin, I am Lars!

It seems that as a "Strandkorb" (a typical roofed wicker beach chair from this part of Germany) I am no longer needed. But after so many years at the coast of Eastern Frisia I deserved my retirement anyway. That is why my friend Tjark (TB3ZZYA) and I left the little fishing village of Greetsiel and went on a journey to Argentina. And from here we now want to see the entire world!

By the way: "Moin Moin" is a typical greeting in Easter Frisia and simply means "good day".

Parece que como un "Strandkorb" (típica silla de mimbre con techo para la playa de esta parte de Alemania) ya no me necesitan. Pero después de tantos años en la costa de Frisia Oriental, merezco mi jubilación. Por eso con mi amigo Tjark (TB3ZZYA) dejamos nuestro pequeño pueblo de Greetsiel y comenzamos un viaje a Argentina. Y desde ahora queremos ver todo el mundo!

("Moin Moin" es un saludo típico de Frisia Oriental que quiere decir "Buen día")

Moin Moin, ich bin Lars!

Als Strandkorb habe ich inzwischen wohl ausgedient. Aber nach so vielen Jahren an der ostfriesischen Küste habe ich mir meinen Ruhestand ja auch verdient. Im April 2011 bin ich deswegen zusammen mit meinem Freund Tjark (TB3ZZYA) vom kleinen Fischerdorf Greetsiel aus nach Argentinien aufgebrochen. Und von hier aus wollen wir jetzt die ganze Welt kennenlernen!
