Current Goal

Take me to other museums with holdings of the Dutch Masters of the 17th century.

Travel bugs seem to regularly disappear from urban caches and at caching events.  Please drop this item in rural or Premium Member Only caches.  Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts—then the chain and tag won't tangle with other items.  Otherwise, take this bug everywhere—no permission is needed to leave the US.

This bug was logged through a cache we found near our B&B in Amsterdam then brought back to our home in Texas. The keychain pendant bought at the Mauritshuis (pronounced moritz house) Museum in The Hague. It houses the painting of the Girl with Pearl Earring (shown on the other side of the pendant), among other works of the 17th century Dutch Masters. I carried it through the Rijksmuseum, the Rembrandthuis, the Hermitage, Schipol Airport (all in Amsterdam), the cathedral and Frans Hals museum in Haarlem, the old and new cathedrals in Delft, the cathedral and Rubenshuis in Antwerp, and cathedrals in Bruges. It has not been to any museums in the US or others in Europe for that matter.

Took it to the North Carolina Museum of Art and took a lot of pictures with it by art from the Dutch Masters, but can't figure out how to post the pics. I'll drop this off when I can find an acceptable cache (i.e. one that fits).
