Please drop this item in rural OR Premium Member Only caches. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the travel bug anywhere you wish. No permission is needed to leave the U.S.
Photos in the travel bug logs are appreciated. I will be re-post them here, where they can be seen by other cachers.
Patch of the flag of the Netherlands. The Netherlands' flag was officially adopted on February 19, 1937. At one time this tricolor flag was orange, white and blue, as those were the livery colors of William of Orange, a Dutch prince. In the 17th century, red replaced the orange as a flag color, because the orange dye used on the flag was unstable, and turned red after exposure to the sun. This item commemorates our recent visit to the country. We were there in late April when tulips and daffodils were at their prime. Train rides out of Amsterdam took us by multi-acre fields with purple, yellow, red, white, blue rows--very striking. I logged this through a cache we found near out B&B in Amsterdam.
