About 2 years ago, ammo was super expensive and very hard to obtain, so I decided to try archer. I lucked out with a great instructor and before you knew it I had a Olympic recurve and belonged to an archery club. Shortly after that geocaching became another hobby and so I decided to combine the two in an archery event. At the very first event, this coin was given to one of the winners of the archery match. It was a hard coin to want to give away, because it is so stunning. When I saw it again for sale, I knew I needed to add it to my collection.
Since then we have had numerous caching events, shooting hearts, apples, turkeys and even bunny peeps (the marshmallow ones you see at Easter). We have always had a great group and we look forward to more archery events in the future
