Current Goal

Travel and help all of us on the roads!

Please, post photos in your log, of very dangerous roads, crossroads etc. in your area, where many accidents happen!
Let us all know of the danger there, and where exactly this road is!
It will be great to give us all details and info of the place, and why not, even cordinates of it, so if we ever pass through there to be more careful!!!

This is a Look Twice GeoCoin

Look Twice GeoCoins were created to travel around and remind Drivers to be more aware of Bikes around them.

As a Driver, when you need to make any moves like turns, lane changes, or entering traffic, look once for those around you, and then look again before you act. This second look might be the chance for you to save a life.

We were all taught as children to look both ways before we cross the street in order to protect ourselves.

Motorcycle and Bicycle riders are dependent on those of us in cars to be alert and aware for their protection.

Please remember

Look Twice for Bikes...You Could Save a Life!

It is not just about looking twice but about driving reasonably!! Keep a distance to the car in front of you of at least 5 car length! The driver in the car in front of you hits the breaks surprisingly you have time to react and space to get the car stopped before crashing into them. This gap also helps people merge when they enter from ramps or getting off by ramps. Maybe some numbers make people think about it.

Referring to the Texas census bureau the population in Texas was ~ 25 Million in 2010. Total traffic deaths in Texas for this year was 2,998 deaths.

The population of Germany in 2010 count > 80 Million Citizens. And the total traffic deaths for 2010 was 3,648.( distance is enforced by law)

Discovered in the Jenny Lynn. A large one indeed so did not take.....but this write up hits home. After losing my step daughter to an auto accident....my oldest son was hit while on his motorcycle when another student ran a red light. I can't pick a dangerous road cause both of these were without hidden curves......blind spots etc. Just other driver inattentiveness. Be careful out there so you can live to cache another day.
