The Willem van Oranje Geocoin was designed by Mr. Van Stoffelen Sr. The information about the coin shown below was taken from his website: "huiberst.info".
Willem van Oranje Geocoin
William of Orange (a.k.a. William the Silent) was born in the House of Nassau as a count of Nassau-Dillenburg. He became Prince of Orange in 1544 and is thereby the founder of the branch House of Orange-Nassau. He was the main leader of the Dutch revolt against the Spanish that set off the Eighty Years’ War and resulted in the formal independence of the United Provinces in 1648. In the Netherlands, he is also known as the Vader des Vaderlands, “Father of the Fatherland”, and the Dutch national anthem, Het Wilhelmus was written in his honor.
Design
The geocoin is round shaped and has a size of 1.75″ (approx. 44 mm). The front of this coin is a copy of the first Dutch coin which was minted in 1583. It shows the portrait of William of Orange and the motto Vigilate Deo Confidentes, which means ‘Guard, trusting in God’.
The backside of this coin has one of William most important statements written on it: “Ik kan niet goedkeuren dat vorsten over het geweten van hun onderdanen willen heersen en hun de vrijheid van geloof ontnemen” which translated means “I cannot approve that monarchs want to rule over the conscience of their people and take away their freedom of religion”.

So many beautiful coins, started to log them one by one but this collection is so impressive that I will watch them one by one but log them all at once from here...
Met you on my Friday the 13th event (is there a coin for that? ;-), considering there is one for many special dates there will be one for sure somewhere) in Vlissingen the Netherlands...
Long after the event was over we were still there together with Marsso talking about many stuff among which the Corona Virus but also our hobby Geocaching and then you offered to share your coin collection with us..
So honoured that you would show it to us, love to watch them all, some of them never seen before and others that look familiar...
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and hope to see you again somwhere someday after this Corona Crisis..

Voor de eerste keer zijn we naar een event geweest.dat was het SAKE in Krommenie.
voor het eerst coins en tb s kunnen discoveren en een paar kunnen ruilen.we wisten niet dat er ook enorme tbs zijn ;).
we hebben genoten van de gezellige verhalen van mede geo cachers,een heleboel geleerd via de workshops en voor het eerst lab caches samen met een ander team gedaan.leuk!
daarbij zijn er weer heel veel nieuwe caches uit gebracht,die we in gedeeltes gaan zoeken[wonen redelijk in de buurt].
op SAKE was ook Geo-Dragonchild met een schitterende ,enorme collectie coins.wij wisten niet dat er zoveel bestonden.stuk voor stuk juweeltjes in ontwerp.
na mail contact mogen we ze discoveren,heel veel dank met het delen van deze coins.

laatst afgereisd naar het sake 2016 en daar caches gezocht , boomklim cursus en diverse bugs en coins gezien waaronder deze. wat een collectie ongelofelijk was sprakeloos
daarom een mailtje naar de eigenaar en nu mag ik ze allen discoveren dank ervoor
mooie grote vitrine kast vol .. super..! bedankt

Een paar weekenden geleden ben ik afgereist naar Krommenie om daar het Event Sake2016 te bezoeken.
Het was een lange rit helemaal vanuit twente, maar hobby mag geld kosten toch?
Het was een goed georganiseerd event, mijn complimenten daarvoor.
Ook zag ik een groot vritine kast met wel een heleboel coins.
Mijn god, dat hobby geld mag kosten dat kun je wel zien aan deze man die ze allemaal heft.
Indrukwekkend gewoon.
Ik ben niet zo van de coins sparen, maar gelukkig hebben andere mensen daar andere gedachten over.
Ik heb werkelijk geen idee hoeveel het er waren, misschien wel een kleine 500 stuks.
Ik ga dan ook deze mensen die al deze coins gespaart hebben dan ook hartelijk bedanken voor het uitstallen van hun collective.
Gewoon TE GEK!

Geo-Dragonchild was op het SAKE2016 event aanwezig, waar hij een gedeelte van zijn verzameling heeft laten zien
Wat een prachtige verzameling, waar iedereen jaloers van word.
Ik heb genoten van de prachtige coings en ben onder de de indruk van de omvang van deze verzameling.
Ik hoop ook de rest van je verzameling eens te zien.
