This coin's mission is to travel from cache to cache promoting bike awareness. Any pictures of the coin with the cache finder, and or Share the Road signs would be great.

I am releasing this to be part of the Todie's Wild Ride Bike Awareness Project initiated by Rockin Roddy in response to the death of his good friend Tod Phillips. On August 12, 2008, Tod was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a left turning vehicle. Tod was one third of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom.


Please remember that automobiles are not the only vehicles on the road. Motorcycles and bikes are out there too and have the same rights on the road as you do So be cautious and take the time to look twice for bikes.

As a motorcyclist, I can definately appreciate this coin. About 6 years ago, one of my best friends was killed on his motorcycle by a guy driving a pick-up truck. I guess the guy figured that since his vehicle was bigger than the motorcycle, he automatically had the right of way, and pulled right out in front of him. I'll be sure to put a few more miles on this nice looking coin!
