About This Item

Bikes are every where. There are bicycles, motorcycles, scooters sharing the highway with drivers. Walkers, skateboarders, wheel chairs also share the road with us. So we must all pay attention. Todie's Wild Ride was started because Tod was killed while riding his bike. The accident could of been prevented but the driver was distracted. We want everyone on the road to arrive safely so the mission of this coin is to remind everyone we share the road, don't drive distracted, and don't take chances. We live in a fast paced world but a life could be saved if we slow down, pay attention and keep our eyes on the road. Please help us and spread the message that we share the road. There has been 672 geocoins released so far for Todie's Wild Ride. We can make a difference and we can prevent accidents. Please don't keep this coin.

Grabbed it from GC15WNW this morning, on a quest for another of the oldest caches in San Diego :)

Very cool looking coin, with a worthy cause. I bike a lot myself and have had more than a couple narrow escapes from idiots not paying attention (including nearly endo'ing through a construction worker's truck side-window right into his face).
