Well, flip flop bug, you can go flip flopping along with someone else from now on. Let’s hope you get found nice and quickly and continue on your exciting journey. Look out for sharp stones because flip-flops aren’t very good on them!

This geocache is a tribute to a sailor called Frank Wild. We should be grateful to the cache owner for bringing him to our attention - we might never have known of his existence had he not. It’s a little odd for there to be a geocache in his honour here because, according to everything I’ve read about him. he had no connection with Hunstanton whatsoever. In fact he was born in Northeast England and his mother claimed to be a descendent of Captain Cook. Do take the trouble to read up about Frank because he was an exceptional man

Staying at the lovely Caley Hall Hotel just down the road in old Hunstanton, we couldn’t resist going to get this one. Holme isn’t much of a village, more a scattering of pretty houses mostly down a lovely back lane heading towards dunes and ultimately the sea. For a bit of peace and quiet this is a great place to come

It’s lovely to be back in Lincolnshire again amongst the cabbages and other sundry Brassica fields. Today we’ve brought the tandem to a slightly different area, east of Boston. It sure is flat except where they build mounds to keep the sea out, should it ever come this far in. By the look of it, it hasn’t come in this far for a long time but then again, what do I know! For those less acquainted with this area, we are very close to the Wash here.

I’m trying to catch up with my logging and struggling a little technically! I visited this spot on 15 September following lunch with some cycling buddies. It’s a lovely way home, if not exactly direct, along the Basingstoke Canal and Wey Navigation. Sorry, forgot to take a photo.

Retrieved several days ago from a fabulous spot in lovely Snowdonia. Will be visiting a few interesting places before heading home to Surrey which will mean that it’s halfway on its journey back to Cornwall!

Took it, together with another, not administratively present TB, and brought it to Wales. It had achieved its mission, so i think this is ok.
