About This Item

LOOK TWICE - SAVE A LIFE!

Drivers- You don't want to hit them do you?. Most of those near-misses come about because you don't always know they are there, even when they are right in front of you, seemingly in plain view. They can be obscured or completely hidden by glare, by other things on or along the road, by the cars roof pillars, the handicap hangtag, or by other traffic. Of course, not all drivers "think motorcycles" and make the effort to look that extra bit harder to see if there might be a motorcyclist hidden by that obscuration or in their blind spot.

This coin is in memory of Todie Phillips of Manitou Beach, MI. He passed away August 12 2008 as a result of a motorcycle accident, he was only 49 years old.

We were planning to leave the coin in this cache today while travelling to St. Pete but the cache was very exposed and we didn't want the coin to get lost so we only dipped it here to get some more miles. The GPS stopped working after we found this cache, could not get a signal for the next 45 minutes and we had to leave. Will drop off elsewhere before Thanksgiving.
