Came along as NorthWes did an owner's maintenance visit to an earthcache at Waimea Bay on the north shore of Oahu. The attached photo is a view of Waimea Beach from the Pu'u o Mahuka Heiau (religious site) State Park, on the bluff above the beach. The earthcache focuses on how the beach serves as a barrier to the Waimea River, and brings geocachers to one of the most scenic and geologically active beaches on Hawaii's Oahu Island.
