Current Goal

Please do not keep this geocoin, keep it moving. The only mission this coin has is to bring Bike Awareness to everyone! Please spread the word. There are thousands and thousands of motorcycle accidents every year, the sad thing is that most of them can be avoided by paying attention to your surroundings!

About This Item

This Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom's Cachestalkers Geocoin was released to bring awareness to the dangers motorcyclists face on our roads. Remember, a motorcycle is a vehicle with all the rights and privileges of any other motor vehicle on the road. This coin is part of The Bike Awareness Project initiated by Rockin Roddy in response to the death of his good friend Tod Phillips. On August 12, 2008, Tod was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a left turning vehicle. Tod was the third member of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. This coin is released in his memory and in memory of all motorcyclists killed on the road. This coin was a gift from Rockin Roddy while at GCF 2008. Thank you Rod!

I was finally able to check on this cache today, and it's right where I left it. I'll be submitting a request for it to be un-archived. However, I didn't see any geocoins inside. There were a few finders that haven't logged the cache yet, so perhaps it's off with them.

Found this while in the park today. Rather unique looking travel bug. We'll move it along. We watch for bikes all the time. Hubby just sold his last fall, going too fast.
