V kamenné lavicce s letopoctem 1820 byl okolo roku 1840 osazen jasan, otvor pro strom se musel nekolikrát zvetšovat. Místní povest praví, že až kmen natolik zesílí, že lavicku roztrhne, bude s mestem Pískem konec.
There was implanted ash around 1840 into the stone seat which is originally from 1820 (probably). The hole for tree has been extended in several times. The local legend tells, after damage of this seat, city Pisek will be destructed.
Cerca de un parque en Písek se encuentra el fresno sembrado en el año 1840. El árbol está incorporado en el centro de la banca de piedra del 1820 y el aguejero ha sido ampliado varias veces. La leyenda dice que cuando cresca el tronco y rompa la banca la ciudad Písek deja de existir.
