Bolis was done with war.
“This King who does not keep his word will die soon then I will be gone. “ he thought.
Bolis had agreed to help defend the kingdom but when the army was turned against a neighboring kingdom Bolis would have none of it.
Now as he sat at the table with this so called king and the Bishop. This man who claimed to be speaking for some God that Bolis new didn't exist . They had allowed hundreds of their own people to be slaughtered so that they could trap the enemy and win a battle. Women and children died so that these two could claim more land in the name of some god.
The bishop was trying to convince Bolis to stay but Bolis only said “No” in a rather loud voice. As he stood to leave the Bishop gave a slight wave of his hand and three crossbows were pointed at Bolis. In turn a green light appeared to completely cover Bolis and fire began shooting out of his staff.
The king new this wasn't good. Not good at all.
Enough he shouted. Then he turned to Bolis and said. We have surrounded this castle, This kingdom shall be ours soon enough. “Bolis you may leave . “
The bishop was just about to protest when a bolt of fire knocked his hat off of his head.
Bolis had turned to leave when a guard came rushing in. “Your Majesty something is happening at the castle.”
As the three men left the tent they saw it. A large golden glow was moving towards the castle gate. It went through the closed gate and was slowly moving towards them.
Bolis knew it was her. The dreams the visions of this woman had been in his head for many days.
He began to walk. As he got close the glow faded and he could see her. She smiled as he approached ." I have been looking for you . “she said. " Why do you help this terrible man."
"I do not replied" Bolis." I helped him defend his kingdom but when he turned on his own people I refused."
Then she spoke very softly. "There are many women and children who are sick. The people are starving.
I can not let this go on.” she said.
Bolis looked at this woman and new she would die trying to stop the king from taking the castle. He also knew he would die if she did.
He slowly held out his staff. “ Put your hand just below mine.” he said
They both held the staff and looked into each others eyes. A large bolt of energy suddenly shot from the staff. The energy flew up the hill striking the kings tent. The concussion was thunderous . Shaking the whole valley but nether of them seemed to notice . They just stared into each others eyes. When it was over it was Bolis who spoke first. “I shall be with you for ever”. He said.
And I with you” she replied.
Then they kissed. The energy between them was amazing. When the kiss was over Bolis took her arm and said. Come lets go see if we can help these people.
