This one of a series of six caches hidden in St. Leonards Forest, east of Horsham, which is Forestry Commission land with public access. Caches 1 to 5 are all independent traditional caches, but they also each display 2 of the co-ordinate numbers needed to find the sixth BONUS multi-cache. You will find these numbers on the front of the log book in each cache, so don't forget to make a note of them. You can do caches 1 to 5 in any order you like, but if you do them in numerical order this will give you a circular walk around the forest of about five miles.
This is one of my favourite dog walking areas, as there are no game birds to worry about, and no main roads nearby. The best place to park is Roosthole Forestry Commission car park, co-ordinates given below. Do remember to take your wellies as the forest can be rather muddy in winter.
