On top of Table Mountain 1960m(Cederberg Wilderness, Western Cape, South Africa)
I've been there quite a few times and it remains to be one of the best places in the Cederberg Wilderness I've visited.
Getting up here is not easy. Can be done in a day - but it'll take you the whole day (8am - 6pm). Park and start at the Oak tree on Driehoek. From there you'll rise more than 1000m, past Welbedacht Cave - up unto the Table Mountain plato - past the 'spout' - right to the top.
Warning: about 100m from the top, there's some dangerous scrambling and 6m of (fixed) rope & chain to negotiate. No need to be an experienced climber, but should have no fear of heights. No technical gear or climbing required. Some people opt to stay over in the 'spout' cave.
Warning: high altitude, weather can change in a wink. Be prepared!
Best time of year: Sep - Oct and Mar - Apr. No guarantee of water at the top!

The following is inside a 15cm x 20cm x 5cm plastic container covered with stones - in a Zip-Lock bag:
1 x logbook(let)
1 x pencil
1 x newspaper frontpage
1 x soft toy (lobster)
1 x blue light bulb
1 x shooter glass
1 x Fluoride Oxide stone (from Orange River)
2 x balloons
1 x acorn (from Stellenbosch)
1 x Boland Hiking Trail badge
Start using the GPS once you're on top. Unfortunately, I took the co-ords only once, so it might be out (will update later). Co-ords should take you to a medium stone with a hole in it (there's lots of stones!). Look south, towards the two beacons. Cache is just to your right (about 4 o'clock).
