Büssows backe, eller Slottsbacken, som den egentligen heter, är min barndoms tummelplats med vilda indian och sjörövarlekar men också letande efter den ingång till en tunnel , som gamla Slitebor berättade för oss ungar, skulle leda ut till Enholmen, Avsikten med slottet som byggdes slutet 1600 –början på 1700 talet, var troligtvis att skydda hamnen i Slite för angrepp från landsidan. I dag synes endast ett fundament till ett torn på den grästäckta kullen Beundra utsikten över samhället --- inloppet till hamnen med holmarna--- Sjuströmmar med Bogeviken Cachen består av ett sk. Pet-Rör. ---- Eng: Bussows Backe or Slotsbacken (the castle hill), which is the correct name is the battleground of my childhood with wild indian- and pirate games, but also looking for the entrance to a tunnel, which old people from Slite, told us children, should lead out to Enholmen. The purpose of building the castle (end of 1600 / beginning of 1700) was probably to protect the harbour in Slite against attacks from the landside. Today is only a foundation to a tower left. Admire the view to the community, the entrance to the harbour with the islets and Bogeviken. The cache is a " Pet-tube ".
