Welcome to Brianza!
These event will be held in the Brianza area, a few miles north of Milan, almost in the Lecco province, in the park of the Curone valley, near the wonderful village of montevecchia.

The event will be held in a tipical local restaurant: Il tetto brianzolo. After the lunch for whoever would love to compete, me and Kazuma will hide some interesting quiz-caches, there will be some new geo-prizes for the FTF.
If you like, on saturday 3 night you can meet us at Pub Ritrovo in Montevecchia (appointement at 19:00 on provided waypoint), to drink a beer and taste their cheese and ham plates. If the weather will be fine we can go to search Montevecchia Sentiero Olivo looking to night cities lights.

For whoever is interested, there are many caches in the area, or you can visit Milan (we are very close to the Tangenziale Est higway around the city) or other cities like Lecco, Bergamo or Como.
For the lovers of the mountains, in Lecco there are a lot of trails, from the easy one, good for all the family, to the wondeful, but really hard, "direttissima", or, eventually, to all the alpine trails on the "Resegone" mountain or on the "Guglie of the Grigna" (not jet found cache on the top).
We know the area very well and we will pleased and happy to provide you any suggestion.

As I was saying, the location is easy to reach from the end of the "Tangenziale Est highway" (you get there from the Higways A1 or A4). If any of you is considering to come by motorcycle, let us know where are you coming from, so we can suggest some nice alternative roads (the closest "Valsassina" valley is like heaven for bikers).

Attention: if you stay on Montevecchia, restaurant can't be reached directly (closed road) go to Missaglia and than climb to Perego (see picture)

Benvenuti in Brianza!
Questo event si terrà in terra di Brianza a pochi km a nord di Milano, a cavallo con la provincia di Lecco, nel parco della Val Curone, vicino al bellissimo paese di Montevecchia.

L'event si terrà a pranzo in un ristorante tipico del luogo: Il Tetto Brianzolo, dopo di che ci sposteremo all'interno del parco dove, per chi volesse, io e Kazuma posizioneremo alcuni quiz-cache particolarmente intriganti ;-> per chi le trova ci saranno interessanti geo-premi nuovi di zecca.
Per chi vuole venire la sera prima vi aspetto a Montevecchia (appuntamento alle 19:00 al parcheggio indicato sotto), al Pub Ritrovo a bere una birra e magari ad assaggiare i loro tipici taglieri di affettati e formaggi, se poi il tempo sarà bello potremo recarci a cercare Montevecchia Sentiero Olivo ammirando le luci della città dall'alto.

In zona ci sono molte cache da raccogliere, altrimenti potrete visitare le vicine Milano (molto cache-popolosa) Lecco, Bergamo oppure Como ed in particolare il molto bello lago a tre rami.
Per chi preferisse la montagna, a Lecco vi sono un'infinità di camminate, dalla semplice traversata bassa adatta a tutta la famiglia, alla bellissima ed impegnativa "direttissima", agli innumerevoli itinerari alpinistici sul resegone, o sulle guglie della Grigna (con cache in zona). Conosciamo bene la zona e saremo felici di consigliarvi.

Come dicevo il luogo è facilmente raggiungibile dal termine della tangenziale est di milano (vi si accede dall'A4 o dall'A1), per chi venisse in moto mi faccia sapere da dove arriva, vi suggeriremo alcuni bellissimi percorsi alternativi (la vicina valsassina è un paradiso per i bikers).

Attenzione: per chi dorme a Montevecchia, non è possibile raggiungere il ristorante direttamente, è necessario passare da Missaglia e poi salire a Perego

Herzlich Willkommen in Brianza!
Dieses Event findet in der Gegend von Brianza, wenige Kilometer noerdlich von Mailand, an der der Grenze zur Provinz Lecco, im Curonepark nahe dem wunderschoenen Dorf Montevecchia statt.

Das Event findet mittags in ein typischen Landgasthof statt, danach begeben wir uns in den Park, wo fuer die Interssierten von Kazuma und mir einige knifflige "Raetselcaches" versteckt werden. Fuer den jeweiligen Finder wird es branntneue Geo-Preise geben.
Wer schon am Vorabend vor Ort ist, wird in Montevecchia im Pub Ritrovo erwartet (Treffpunkt um 19:00 am unten angefuehrten Parkplatz), um ein Bier zu trinken oder die typischen Platten mit Aufschnitt und Kaese zu verkosten. Falls das Wetter schoen ist, koennen wir bei Montevecchia den Olivenweg aufsuchen, um die Lichter der Stadt von oben zubewundern.

Wer sich nicht an die teuflischen Caches wagt, kann sehr viele Caches in der Umgebung „einsammeln“, sonst koennte man Mailand, Lecco, Bergamo oder Como besichtigen.
Wer hingegen die Berge liebt findet bei Lecco unendlich viele Wandermoeglichkeiten, vom einfachen ebenen Rundweg fuer die Familie ueber die schoene und anstrengende „Direttissima“ bis hin zu den alpinen Pfaden am Resegone oder auf die Grignakette. Wir kennen diese Gegend sehr gut und geben Euch gerne diesbezuegliche Empfehlungen.

Wie gesagt ist der Ort einfach ueber das Ende der Umfahrungsstrasse Ost von Mailand (welche man ueber die A4 oder A1 erreicht) erreichbar. Wer mit dem Motorrad kommt kann von uns einige schoene Alternativrouten erfahren(Das nahe Sassinatal ist ein Paradies fuer Biker).
Spaeter werden wir noch weitere Informationen hinzufuegen. Wir erwarten Euch zahlreich!

Achtung: Wer in Montevecchia uebernachtet kann nicht auf direktem Wege zum Restaurant fahren, sondern muss ueber Missaglia und Perego fahren.
