Geocache Description:

This is the fifth in a series of fairly easy and young cacher friendly caches that will take you on a tour of places on the peninsula with interesting names.

Mt. Misery. The name of the place comes from the road which used to take you to and from Perry Point. Muddy, steep, with potholes that would swallow your horse, it was a miserable trip in bad weather.

To get here, you're going to have to do a bit of looking. Mount Misery road is now broken in two. (Nobody wants to make that trek anymore!) You can, if you wish, attempt this cache by driving in Mt. Misery road West. I didn't attempt this. If you do, the number for Loyalist City Towing is 633-8888.
The easier way is to come in via Mount Misery Road (East). Drive to the last house, the road becomes narrow and one lane. You should be able to drive about 200 yards down this narrow road and you'll see a pull off to your right. Park here. The cache is a short hike and gives a bit of a view of Meenan's Cove.

Just as a side note, a friend of mine sold her house here a couple of months ago. I wonder what living on "Mount Misery" does to your property value?
