Nice, easy walk at the beach. This trail gets heavy use during nice
weather making steath imperative! Trail is stroller accessible so
bring the kids and enjoy a nice walk at the beach! Cache is located
within 10 feet of the trail. Please re-hide cache as well as or
better than you found it. Container is a small snap n lock with
usual trade items. FTF is a WG$.
Greenwich Point is open daily from 6:00 am until sunset. Unless you
are a resident of Greenwich (or a guest of one), it is recommended
that you visit this cache sometime after November 1 and before
April 30 or after 5 PM when there are no admission or parking fees
charged.
The following policies were found on the Town
of Greenwich website.
Passes are required from May 1 through October 31. Leashed dogs are
only allowed from December 1 through March 31. During the period
from May 1 through October 31, prior to 7:00 am and after 5:00 pm,
only vehicle permits for residents and vehicle fees for visitors
will be required, no per person fees will be charged. A park pass
or guest card/ticket and a vehicle permit/parking pass is required
between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. Vans and buses will require a permit
for one-day special events. During the period from November 1
through April 30, no fees will be charged to enter Greenwich Point
and Byram Park. The Town of Greenwich non-discrimination policy
will be included as part of the park pass applications.
If you go during the high season, passes for Greenwich Point are
sold at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center in Old Greenwich (from
9-5, Daily) and Town Hall Beach Card Office (8:30-3:30, M-F). For
