Geocache Description:

"Luck is no match for an unfriendly shoe." - James Bond

*** CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDINATES ***

THIS CACHE: Nothing unusual here. Just an ammo can in the woods.

Once you have the solution to the puzzle below, add/subtract each players win/loss to the coordinates given above and you will have the final coordinates.

A VERY useful resource for this puzzle is located here

  • All rules are those used at the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Tunica Mississippi.

  • They are playing an eight deck shoe game.

  • Mr North is counting cards. 2-7 are +1, and 10-A are -1. No true count is kept, only a "running count". He moves his money 1-2 when the count reaches +7 or better. He moves his money back down 2-1 when the count drops to +6 or less. He does not vary from this strategy.

  • Mr North's bet is $25/hand unless the count dictates otherwise.

  • Ms. Westin is not counting cards. Ms. Westin’s bet is always $15.00.

  • Both players play straight basic strategy, and do not deviate from it at all.

  • After the cards are collected on a winning round, the winning player(s) tip(s) the dealer $1.00. - A round consists of all the wagering decisions based on one dealer hand. The cumulative effect of double downs/splits will determine that rounds net win/loss for each player.

  • Mr. North and Ms. Westin decided to play some blackjack for an evenings entertainment. They both walked up to an eight deck shoe game, placed their money on the table and requested change. They were given chips for their money, and they proceeded to play. Mr. North sat in the no.1 position, and Ms. Westin sat at the no.2 position. No other players joined them while they played.
