serie vyznamne stromy
V roce 2002 se tato lípa dokonce umístila na druhém míste v
souteži strom roku. Lípa je 17 m vysoká a obvod kmene ciní 320
cm.
Z vrcholku kopce je krásný výhled na východní svahy Doupovských
hor, Krušnohorský masiv, zbytky kaolinových dolu v okolí a vesnici
Nepomyšl.
Podle vyprávení pametníku stála na tomto míste šibenice. Popraven
byl prý jen jediný clovek a poté zde byla zasazena tato lípa.
První písemný doklad o obci Nepomyšl se dochoval ze 14. století.
Za tricetileté války byla obec vyplenena Švédy a její obyvatelé
byli zbaveni všech privilegií. Roku 1717 udelil císar Karel VI.
obci práva dvou jarmarku do roka. Z 18. století je také doložen
mestský znak. Mestecko Nepomyšl melo právo varit pivo. V období 1.
republiky byla Nepomyšl mestem se zámkem a dvorem Herbersteinu, se
3 mlýny a kaolínovými závody.
Ve vesnici stojí za povšimnutí dve architektonické památky. Hmotove
zajímavý zámek kruhového tvaru, vzniklý na míste puvodní tvrze a
kostel sv. Mikuláše, puvodne gotická stavba ze 14. století, barokne
upravovaná v 1. polovine 18. století. Zejména zámek však není
zrovna v nejlepším technickém stavu. V okolní krajine a vesnicích
jsou zbytky drobné církevní architektury.

The Lime Above
If you want to find the cash, you have to climb up a hill situated
close to the village Nepomysl. The cash is placed up the hill „U
stare kaolinky“ ( Near the old kaolin mill) below the tree, the
lime, which is protected by the state. The Lime is 17 m high and
trunk is 320 m in girth. The Lime was awarded second place in the
Tree of The Year Contest 2002.
As a award you get a view of the east hillside of The Doupov
mountains, The Ore Mountains, the village named Nepomysl and the
derelict kalolin mills.
The elder villagers draw the story. There was built the gallows and
one person was there executed, then there was the lime
planted.
First record about Nepomysl is originated in the 14th century. The
village was raided by Swedish troops and all privileges of the
inhabitants were took away during The Thirty Years' War. The
emperor Charles VI. gave Nepomyšl a permission to take place two
fairs a year in the year 1717 . The crest was made in the 18th
century. Nepomyšl had also a right to brew. In Nepomysl there was a
castle and court of Herbenstein, 3 mills and kaolin mills in the
period of the First Republic.
In the village there are two dominat features, a castle built at
the place of the old fort, its shape is circle, and the church
Saint Nicholas, a gothic building from the 14th century, which was
rebuilt to the baroque style in the 18th century. In the
surroundings there is plenty of villages with its fine church
buildings.
