There is a free parking lot in halfway up a mountain of Mt. Ishimaki.

It is Toyohashi Railroad bus Tomioka line / Kanazawa line / Suse line from the seventh Toyohashi Station east exit platform.

Mt. Ishimaki, with an elevation of 358m, has long been considered a religious symbol. Ceremonies are held at Ishimaki Shrine, situated at the base of the mountain, in the early mornings of February every year to predict crop conditions in the area.
The summit of Mt. Ishimaki is made up of steep limestone boulders, which are host to a variety of animal and plant life only found in limestone terrain. The plant colony among the limestone rocks of Mt. Ishimaki has been designated as a national natural treasure.
Providing a bird’s eye view of Toyohashi; a great destination for night drives.
Standing perpendicular freezes perpendicularly, and a southern aspect of Mt. Ishimaki is famous as a rock-climbing place.
Attention : In the mountaintop, a lot of rocks rise steeply like a cliff.

公共交通機関：
豊橋駅東口７番乗り場から豊橋鉄道バス富岡線・金沢線・嵩山線。
石巻山登山口バス停下車。
徒歩10分ほどで石巻登山口へ。
標高358mの石巻山は古くから信仰の対象とされてきた山で、山ろくの石巻神社では毎年２月の早朝、地域の作柄の豊凶を占う管粥祭が行われてきました。
山頂付近は、石灰岩の巨岩が露出する険しい地形となっており、石灰岩地特有の植物・動物が多く見られ、「石巻山石灰岩地植物群落」として国の天然記念物に指定されています。
豊橋を一望できる眺望や夜景のドライブスポットです。
石巻山の南面は垂直に切立っていて、ロッククライミング場所としても有名です。
注意 ： 山頂は岩が多く、崖のように切り立っています。
