Motorway Mayhem caches are intended to provide fairly easy drive-by
caches together with useful “just-off” motorway information for
travellers who are in need of a break or seek alternatives to the
typical motorway service station type fare and prices. It is hoped
this series and concept will grow as other cachers add further
caches along the length and breadth of Britain’s Motorways.
Micro cache hidden along a new wall on the approach to junction 23
of the M60, as you head towards the motorway from Manchester.
My very first cache! Replaces the original cache at this location
that was archived because it fell into disrepair. The location is
perfect for a fairly quick drive by, so I just had to place one
here again!
The cache itself is a 35 mm film canister. Final approach to the
cache is over a little rough ground so may not be so easy for
wheelchairs/buggys. The cache has no writing implement so please
bring your own.
