This cache is within the OKEHAMPTON FIRING RANGE.
Before you plan your visit you MUST check the DARTMOOR FIRING NOTICE.
For information see: http://www.dartmoor-ranges.co.uk
Do not attempt this cache if there is firing on the Okehampton Ranges. Do not go past the Range Marker posts when the Range Flags (Red Fags) are Flying.
Do not pick up any object in the area due to the fact that it is a Military Training Area where Troops use "Blank Ammunition".
Lints Tor is a pretty little tor passed by many but climbed, I suspect, by few. Being overshadowed in overall height by surrounding hills, it is only when you make your final approach that you realise how steep sided it is. The tor itself would be difficult to climb to the top - I certainly didn't try.
One pretty, if wet approach is via the West Okement Valley through Black-a-Tor wood. There are other approaches of course.
