Geocache Description:


A great view can be taken in from this high spot overlooking the river, train yard, and valley.. especially in the fall with the colors. This section of Battle Creek is devoted to bicyclist with many trails that twist back and forth. A map of the trails and more info can be found on Minnesota Off Road Cyclist website. There is also a map sign at the community center parking lot. Careful riding here there are a lot of sand pits and park improvements are in progress. Enjoy a quiet walk and view or bring your bike and spend a couple of hours touring around.

Cache is a screw top bicycle water bottle with log sheet, pencil, and some trinkets to start. Please dont overfill and never leave lighters or matches as Smokey Bear wouldnt approve

***There are trails that will get you to within thirty feet of the cache.. only a couple of feet of bushwhacking is required. I recommend starting your trek from the Battle Creek Regional park trail access on Winthrop.
