Goodwin park in Oakdale on the corner of Goodwin ave and 40th st N
dosen't look like much more then a vacant lot. The park is listed
as natural and besides the large mowed lawn it is.. no amenities
here. The coordinates will take you into the woods where there are
no real trails just paths of less resistance. The cache is located
near waters edge and in certain spots you can look out across the
water. Nice view.. especially with the fall colors. There were
ducks playing in the water and i thought i heard a loon but didn't
see it. East of the cache is a Gilligan hut someone spent time
building.
New cache is a water bottle with a mouth the size of golf ball. Please dont overfill and never leave matches or lighters as Smokey the Bear wouldnt approve. I recommend NOT parking in front of the mail box or doing this one at night
