le vilage de Pierre-Percée doit son nom au château dont il reste des ruines partiellement visitables : le château datant du Xe siècle est construit sur une roche de conglomérat (roche assez particulière ressemblant à du grès rose et sertie de nombreux cailloux blancs, et semblant comme posée au sommet d'une colline).
Le nom de Pierre-Percée, donc, proviendrait de la construction au XIIe siècle d'un puits d'environ 30 mètres de profondeur dans l'enceinte du château.
Vous pourrez y admirer le paysage et le lac artificiel en contrebas.
