Ce parcours dans le massif de l'Etoile mène à une des nombreuses grottes du site. Le début du parcours est très facile. La deuxième partie est plus physique: petit sentier dans une végétation dense, forte dénivellation avec quelques sauts de rochers.
This path in the Massif de l'Etoile leads to one of the numerous cave of the site. The beginning of the walk is very easy. The second part is more physical: tiny track in overgrown bush, steep descent, requiring to jump over a couple of rocks.
Pour rejoindre le parking, emprunter la D8 depuis Gardanne vers Mimet. Juste après le panneau d'entrée dans l'agglomération de Mimet, prendre la petite route à droite. A l'intersection où un rond-point blanc est peint au sol, prendre à gauche le Chemin de la Glacière. Suivre ensuite cette petite route toujours tout droit jusqu'au parking (N43°24.641'E005°29.449').
To reach the parking place, take the D8 road from Gardanne to Mimet. Just after the Mimet road sign, take the little road on the right. At the crossroads where a white roundabout is painted on the ground, take the left hand road named Chemin de la Glacière. Follow this small road straight ahead until you reach the parking (N43°24.641'E005°29.449').
Garez votre auto et partez dans le sens de la montée. Au bout du parking vous arrivez à l'intersection de trois chemins. Prenez celui du milieu (photo). Celui de gauche repart en arrière, celui de droite redescend.
Park your car and walk along the parking upwards. At the end of the parking there is a crossroads with three tracks. Take the one straight in the middle. The left-hand one goes backwards, the right-hand one goes down.
Après quelques minutes de marche vous arrivez au Col Sainte-Anne (N43°24.498'E005°29.012'). Prenez la route goudronnée à gauche, fléchée La Limace.
After a few minutes walk, you arrive at the Col Sainte-Anne (N43°24.498'E005°29.012'). Take the tarred road on your left in the direction of La Limace.
Suivez la route jusqu'au point de référence 1 (N43°24.254'E005°29.315'). Prenez le chemin en pierres qui descend à droite. Marquage noir (ancien) et rouge (récent).
Follow the road until reference point 1 (N43°24.254'E005°29.315'). Take the rocky track on the right. Black (older) and red (recent) paints along the track.
Au point de référence 2 (N43°24.183'E005°29.193') prenez la piste piste rocheuse à droite. Marquage rouge.
At reference point 2 (N43°24.183'E005°29.193') take the tiny rocky track on the right. Red marks along the path.
Vous allez passer devant deux cavités qui ne sont pas les nôtres. A cet endroit vous longez une paroi rocheuse et perdrez sûrement le signal GPS. Continuez sur le chemin rouge.
You will walk along two caves which are not our cache. At that place you're walking along a cliff, so you'll probably lose the GPS signal. Never mind, keep on following the red track.
Les coordonnées du titre indiquent l'entrée de la grotte. La cache se situe environ 2-3 mètres à l'intérieur (il faut ramper), sur la gauche, sous des pierres.
The coordinates in the title locate the front of the cave. The cache is about 2-3 meters inside. Expect a little creeping. The cache is on the left, under a stack of stones.
