This cache was originally supposed to be placed at a different
location (another stairway to heaven), but when I followed the
directions that were given to me, I couldn't find it, so this spot
will have to do. I am actually suprised that there isn't a cache
here already.
The cache is hidden at a very popular rest stop on the Tofino side
of Sutton Pass. In the summer months, this place is litterally
crawling with muggles. At the time of hiding, however, there was
no-one else around (possibly because it was 5pm on a Monday, in the
pouring rain, in the middle of September).
Be sure to take a wander downstream from the cache to check out the
waterfalls. Just watch your footing on the slippery rocks
Cache is a regular sized, lock'n'lock. You will find it near some
rocks, some concrete, and some wood
For anyone participating in the
Vancouver Island Topo Challenge, this cache falls into
92F3.
