Dead Man's Cache Picnic Trilogy

At Harriman State Park, Sebago Beach picnic area

At the Sebago Beach picnic area we will be having a potluck lunch from 11:00 a.m. until around 1 p.m. Please post what food you will be bringin. Email me (Captain Avroair) if you need help deciding what to bring

Pirate Games
In the afternoon attendees will be given a pirate map that leads them and their Pirate Ships through beautiful Harriman State Park. Using a pirate (and park) map participants will stop at each of the nearby quays (parking areas) to find Treasures of Six Famous Pirates (event caches). Each one will lead to a clue to the next until you discover: "The Dead Man's Cache"
Each 'lost treasure' is located close to legitimate parking and is a short hike from the trailhead. Please do not park by the roadside, the Harriman cops are aggressive at issuing tickets. More information to come at the event.


Directions
From the North:
From the NY Thruway (route 87) take route 106 east going into the park, take the third right at Kanawauke circle going South on Seven Lakes Drive. On Seven Lakes look for the Sebago Beach exit.
From the South:
From Route 17, take the Seven Lakes Drive exit east into the Park. Go north until you get to Sebago Beach and make a left. (you may need to take a U-turn).
From the East and South East:
Palisades Interstate Parkway to exit 16, Lake Welch Drive. Follow to Seven Lakes Drive, follow signs to Sebago Beach
