KOSTEL SV. MICHALA ARCHANDELA VE
VERNEROVICICH
Podle mistni povesti byla obec Vernerovice zalozena ve 2. polovine
13. stoleti jistym Wernerem, ktery prisel spolu s kolonisty z
Durynska na pozvani broumovskeho opata Martina I. Byla mu zde
pridelena puda, tehdy porostla lesem, aby ji vzdelal. Postavil si
zde obydli, za coz platil dane, a stal se mistnim rychtarem.
Dominantou obce je farni barokni kostel sv. Michaela stojici na
navrsi uprostred vsi na hrbitove. Ten stoji v miste puvodniho
dreveneho kostela, ktery dal roku 1540 postavit opat Matej Mathias
a ktery roku 1683 dal opat Tomas Sartorius zvetsit. Nynejsi kostel,
ktery za svuj vznik vdeci opatu Otmaru Zinkemu, byl vybudovan v
letech 1719 - 1720, respektive 1722, kdy se dokoncovalo jeho
vnitrni vybaveni, snad podle planu Krystofa Dientzenhofera. Jeho
autorstvi neni primo dolozeno prameny, ale vyplyva z jeho cinnosti
stavitele pro tento rad.
Stavba je orientovana, omitana (omitka dnes z velke casti opadana)
a je slozena z elipticke lodi, k niz je pripojena na vychod
sakristie a na zapad vez. Pruceli jsou clenena meziokennimi
lizenami, ktere tvori svisle i vodorovne pasy vyplnene vrhanou
omitkou. Na jizni strane byly slunecni hodiny. Vchody jsou tri:
hlavni pod vezi, 1,56 m siroky a 2,80 m vysoky, pravouhly. Nad
timto vchodem ve stukovem oramovani je bila mramorova sestihranna
deska s napisem: PRINCIPI, CAELESTIS, EXERCITUS, S. MICHAELI,
DEDICAT. 1719, O. A. B. To je v prekladu: "Knizeti nebeskych
zastupu, sv. Michaelovi venoval Otmar, opat broumovsky". Bocni
vchod vede z jizni strany a posledni do sakristie. Oba jsou
pravouhle v kamennych ostenich.
Uvnitr pusobi jedina elipticka lod, 16m siroka a 26m dlouha, jako
sal, do nehoz cni 10 piliru, vystupujicich ze zdi. Na vysokem
nabehu je rovny strop hladce omitnut. Polychromie vnitrku ma
modrosedou barvu s hnedymi stinovanymi archivoltami a rimsami, s
sedou oblouckovou atikou s modrym pruhledem ke stropu (naposledy
vymalovano v roce 1941). Sakristie je 5m siroka a 4m dlouha
zaklenuta valene s vysecemi. Zajimavosti interieru je kruchta
vycnivajici ve 3 obloucich do lodi. Ta je pristupna z kostela dvema
drevenymi schodisti a pokracuje v emporach, ktere jsou 3 po kazde
strane, nejsou pouze ve vyklencich, v nichz se nachazi oltare.
Empory i kruchta jsou vroubeny zabradlim z ctyrbokych baroknich
kuzelek. Na hlavnim oltari je obraz od Ant. Felixe Schefflera:
Zjeveni sv. archandela Michaela na hore Gargano v jizni Italii. Po
stranach sochy sv. archandelu Gabriela a Rafaela. Varhany byly
zrekonstruovany po r. 1990.
Do roku 1916 mel kostel celkem 5 zvonu (4 ve zvonici a 1 v
lucerne), toho roku byly 4 z nich statem zrekvirovany. K zbylemu
pribyly roku 1924 nove dva zvony porizene z dilny broumovskeho
zvonare Oktaviana Wintra. Zvony byly opet zrekvirovany ve druhe
svetove valce, zustal opet jeden zvon. Dnes ma kostel stale pouze
jeden zvon z roku 1600 o prumeru 105 cm a vysce 80 cm s napisem RUF
MICH AN IN ZEID DER NOT SPRICHT DER HERR SO WILL ICH DICH ERRETTEN
UND DU SOLIST MICH PREISEN ANNO 1600 (Zavolej me v case nouze rika
Buh, tak te chci chranit a ty me mas velebit). Dale jsou na zvonu
uvedeni donatori a je zde vyobrazeny znaky broumovskeho a
brevnovskeho klastera a krucifux. Zvon je proti puvodni orientaci
otocen o 90°. Uvnitr kostela ve zdi lodi je zazden renesancni
nahrobek puvodne ze hrbitovni zdi z piskovce, uprostred vyhloubeny
s polychromovanym reliefem postavy muze hnedych vlasu a vousu, v
modravych kozenkach a sate a hnedem plasti.Z textu se dovidame, ze
jde o nahrobek vernerovickeho solce (rychtare) Blasia Meissnera,
ktery zemrel v roce 1579 ve veku 41 let. Okolo kostela se rozklada
velky hrbitov, vetsina nemeckych hrobu je pusta. Pred kostelem
stoji barokni fara (dnes Obecni urad) s cennym znakem nad hlavnich
vchodem.
CHURCH OF ST. MICHAEL, VERNÉROVICE
The dominant of the municipality of Vernérovice is the parish
Church of St. Michael, Archangel. It stands on a hill in the middle
of the village in the place of the former wooden church built in 1
540 on the order of abbot Matthias and at the end of the 17th
century, expanded based on the decision of abbot Thomas Sartorius.
The today baroque church was built in the years 1719-20, 1722
respectively, when its interior was being finished, possibly in
accordance with plans by Christoph Dientzenhofer. His authorship is
not directly evidenced by the sources, however, we may deduce it
from his construction activities for abbot Otmar Zinke. As concerns
the church of Vernérovice, it is a one-bodied oval construction
with a sanctuary attached to it on the eastern side and a tower on
the west. Originally, the church had five bells but most of them
were embargoed in the World War One. In 1924, two bells made by the
Broumov bell workshop of Octavus Winter were newly purchased. But
even those were confiscated in the World War Two and to these days,
only one bell has been preserved from the 17th century. Above the
main entrance, there is a marble tablet with a sign, its
translation meaning: "To the prince of heavenly crowds, St.
Michael, dedicated by Otmar, abbot of Brevnov 1719". The main altar
painting is a work of Felix Antonín Scheffler and it pictures the
epiphany of St. Archangel Michael on the Gargano mountain. Close to
the church, there is a baroque parsonage with an emblem of the
Brevnov-Broumov abbey pictured above its entrance, today occupied
by the municipal office.
The Broumov Group of Churches
The baroque churches, the
so-called "Broumov Group", built on the territory of the Broumov
monastic estate in accordance with the plans of Christoph
Dientzenhofer and his son Kilian Ignaz form a unique architectural
landmark of the region. The churches were built in a relatively
short time, in the period 1709-43. They are a result of unusual
building and economic boom initiated by abbot Otmar Zinke - a very
capable provost of the Benedictine monastery of Brevnov-Broumov.
Despite the unquestionable economy of their design, these country
churches bear a seal of uniqueness and creative originality worthy
of the well-known name of its authors -- father and son the
Dientzenhofers. In particular the following buildings are
concerned: the Church of St. Procope in Bezdekov, the Church of St.
Mary Magdalene in Božanov, the Church of St. Wenceslas in
Broumov, the Church of All Saints in Hermánkovice, the Church of
St. Barbara in Otovice, the Church of St. James the Bigger in
Ruprechtice, the Church of St. Margaret in Šonov, the Church
of St. Michael in Vernérovice, the Church of St. Anne in
Vižnov and the Chapel of Virgin Mary (also called the Star) on
the border of the Broumov Cliffs.
KIRCHE
DES HL. MICHAEL, VERNÉROVICE
Die Dominante der Gemeinde Vernérovice bildet die Pfarrkirchedes
Hl. Erzengels Michael. Sie steht auf einer Anhöhein der Dorfmitte,
an der Stelle der ursprünglichen Holzkirche. Diese lies 1540 der
Abt Matthias erbauen, Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts wurde sie dann auf
Entscheidung des Abtes Tomas Sartorius erweitert. Die heutige
Barockkirche entstand zwischen 1719-20, beziehungsweise 1722, als
die Inneneinrichtung fertiggestellt wurde, vermutlich nach Plänen
des Christoph Dientzenhofer. Bei der Kirche von Vernérovice handelt
es sich um ein ovales Gebäude mit einem Schiff, an das im Osten die
Sakristei und im Westen der Turm anschließt. Ursprünglich hatte die
Kirche insgesamt fünf Glocken, der Großteil von ihnen wurde jedoch
während des ersten Weltkriegs requiriert. Im Jahre 1924 wurden bei
der Glockengießerei des Octav Winter in Broumov zwei neue Glocken
in Auftrag gegeben. Auch die sind jedoch während des zweiten
Weltkriegs beschlagnahmt worden, erhalten blieb lediglich eine
Glocke aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Über dem Haupteingang ist eine
Marmortafel angebracht, welche eine Aufschrift trägt, die in
Übersetzung soviel wie: „Dem Fürsten der himmlischen Scharen
Hl. Michael gewidmet vom Otmar, Abt von Brevnov 1719." bedeutet.
Das Hauptaltarbild ist ein Werk von Felix Antonin Scheffler und
stellt die Offenbarung des Hl. Erzengels Michael auf dem Berg
Gargano dar. In der Nähe der Kirche steht ein Barockpfarrhaus mit
Abbildung des Wappens der Brevnov-Broumov Abtei über dem Eingang,
in dem heute das Gemeindeamt sein Sitz hat.
Die Kirchengruppe von Broumov
Als eine einzigartige
architektonische Sehenswürdigkeit der Region gelten die
Barock-kirchen der sog. "Broumov-Gruppe", gebaut auf den Ländereien
der Klosterherrschaft von Broumov nach Vorlage des Christoph
Dientzenhofer und seines Sohnes Kilian Ignaz. Die Kirchen wurden
innerhalb einer relativ kurzen Zeit gebaut, zwischen 1709 - 43. Sie
entstanden als Folge eines ungewöhnlichen Bau- und
Wirtschafts-booms, aus der Initiative des Abtes Otmar Zinke -eines
sehr tüchtigen Vorstehers der Benediktinerabtei von
Brevnov-Broumov. Diese Landkirchen zeugen, trotz ihrer unbestritten
sparsamen Lösung, von Einzigartigkeit und künstlerischer
Originalität ihrer berühmten Autoren - Vater und Sohn
Dientzenhofer. Es handelt sich um folgende Bauten: Kirche des Hl.
Prokop in Bezdekov, Kirche der Hl. Maria Magdalena in Božanov,
Kirche des Hl. Wenzels in Broumov, Kirche Aller Heiligen in
Hermánkovice, Kirche der Hl. Barbara in Otovice, Kirche des Hl.
Jakob des Größeren in Ruprechtice, Kirche der Hl. Marketa in
Šonov, Kirche des Hl. Michael in Vernérovice, Kirche der Hl.
Anna in Vižnov und die Kapelle der Jungfrau Maria (auch
„Hvezda" (Stern) genannt) auf dem Kamm der Broumov
Felswände.
