Located on Southsea seafront, this cache can be done as a quick cache & dash (metered parking is available very close by), or as part of an enjoyable day in Southsea where there are lots of things to see and do.
Some local attractions include Southsea Castle, The D-Day Museum, Blue Reef Aquarium and Clarence Pier Funfair, all well within walking distance, not to mention a boating lake, various ice cream / food kiosks, a nice promenade & pier for walking along and excellent views of the Solent and Isle of Wight!
The cache should be quite easy to locate, but retrieving it without detection may be slightly more difficult as this area can be quite busy with muggle traffic, especially on a nice day! I would recommend some stealthy rummaging in bags/ tying of shoelaces/playing with your children etc!
Please take care when replacing the cache to ensure that the log is sealed properly inside it's plastic bag and that the lid is firmly re-attached to the cache container.
NOTE ON CACHE REPLACEMENT - Please ensure that the container is placed at 180 degrees on the underside, on the seaward side of the object, and not at 90 degrees on the side of the object as this makes it too visible to passers by.
Being a micro cache again, I wasn't able to leave a cache camera for people to take photos with, but as I myself have an unhealthy obsession with taking photographs of everything wherever I go, it would great if visitors to the cache could take a photo of themselves and upload it with their log. I do like to see what other cachers look like and put faces to the names I frequently see on the logs! ;o)
Happy Hunting! :o)
