Cachen er placeret ved den sti, der fører op over fjeldet til den
smukt beliggende dal Gåsadalur, som ligger i den vestlige ende af
øen Vágar.
Indtil 2003
blev stien benyttet som postrute, idet der 3 gange om ugen blev
båret post over fjeldet ad den 3,5 km farlige sti. Cachen er
placeret i starten af stien.

This cache is placed by the path leading across the mountain to the
beautiful valley Gåsadalur, which is placed in the western part of
the island Vágar.
Until 2003
the 3,5 km dangerous path was used 3 times a week as a postroute.
The cache is placed where the path starts.
