Cache is located in the parking area just outside of the Cemertery. The is another great cache located inside. So please remember to respect the area while retrieving these caches.
I belong to a strong Masonic Family and so spent a lot of time going to the various meeting in some of the small towns around here esp. Silver City and Idaho City.
The men were in their meetings so we would explore the area. I was'nt much of a museum girl even though I love history. But I think I must have climbed on every log holding that Old Idaho State Pen together, which iss near the Masonic Hall. No, I wasn't so nasty as to write or carve my name into it but trust me I was there.
The place I liked the very best was when the women walked up to the cemerterys and I listened to them talk about the old times and what life was like back then. Some of the women I think had first hand knowledge and were an amazing wealth of information. They would talk about this or that epidemic that went through the area and you could see the toll it took.
Some of the markers are gone now but so many have been brought back to life and have information to share. I hope you will take the time to listen and perhaps share your knowledge with your children.
The cache is a very small container and poorly started with only a few items. But some trading can be done. Please bring your own pencil.
