Fänneslunda kyrkoruin
Fänneslunda 110-talskyrka tillhör den tornlösa typen med rakslutet kor. Huvudingången låg i den södra långväggen. Koret i öster hade ett i sten uppmurat altare med en häll av gråsten. Fänneslunda och Grovare medeltidskyrkor ersattes 1874 av en ny kyrka, varvid Fänneslunda kyrka lämnades att förfalla. 1936 utgrävdes och konserverades kyrkoruinen.
Enligt sägnen finns det en underjordisk gång från kyrkan till Herrgården som på den tiden det begavs var ett kloster där munkarnas celler ännu finns kvar ……..
The 12th CENTURY CHURCH of Fänneslunda belongs to the tower less type with a straight-closed chancel. The Fänneslunda and Grovare medieval churches were replaced in 1874 by a new church, and Fänneslunda church was left to decay. The ruined church was excavated and restored in 1936. In the 12th century the mansion was a monastery and according to the tales there was an underground passage from the church too the monastery where the monk’s cubicles still remains …….
