Geocache Description:

You needed something to do while you wait

Ferries wait for no man (or woman, usually); and lo, the rise and
fall of the tides are yet ceaseless; and you must pursue your quarry
with a wise spirit and when the waters run low (Gooseberrians
1:10.)

HISTORICAL NOTES

Note 5/07: The original cache container was bashed by the
surf, the critters, or maybe the locals...regardless, its waveworn
shell remains. Don't be distracted by it in your hunt for the new
micro. With the new placement, I upped the difficulty to 2. A
flashlight may help you reduce that. As always, try to be subtle
while you're searching!

Note 8/07: The original container is now
completely removed. But reconsidering this cache, the difficulty
and terrain are now 2.5 each. Only the limber will succeed.

Note
3/08: No one has found this in many moons. It is not extremely
well-hidden. Coords are consistently within ten feet. However, to
find it, you do need to read the above instructions--search at
mid-tide or lower, and plan to spend enough time to take a really
good look. I have upgraded the difficulty to 3.5, as a couple
experienced cachers have come up empty-handed. But the cache is
there and in fine shape. Good luck.

Note 4/08: It seems cachers are
having more success. The difficulty
on this one seems awfully hard to judge!

Note 9/10: Don't get
discouraged. This is a difficult find.

Note 1/23/2011 It seems to be weathering this crazy winter well.

Note 8/13: Updated hardware. Cache is fine. Summer is the best time to make the grab.

Note 8/17: Cache container & attachment replaced. This is a 4 star, apparently, and will be thus noted.
