A great view at a unique beach.
The beach/lookout/cache is located outside Seaview, NB.
There are different ways to get there, this is one of them:
Make your way to Hwy1, west of Saint John. Take Exit 112 to Lorneville. Head towards Lorneville and follow the blue signs to Black Beach. When you get to Coleson Cove continue straight (don’t go left) past the power plant. The road becomes gravel. Follow the road down to the beach. Park at the beach and head up the road on the right. Walk past the limestone quarry and follow the roadway behind it. Look on the right of the roadside for a short ATV trail that will take you to the top and the cache. PLEASE FOLLOW THE ROADWAY. DON’T CLIFF-CLIMB TO THE CACHE! Cache is a plastic Rubbermaid-type container covered with camo duck tape. GPS WAAS accuracy was 2.3m when the cache was stashed. Good luck finding the cache. Remember, please hide the cache as well as or better than you found it.

All of the above items are new and unused.
Black Beach is a rare black sand beach. Shade cliffs and continuous wave action causes pieces of shade to break off and form the beach. From the lookout you can see Musquash Harbour in front of you as well as The White Rocks directly across the harbour.
