Geocache Description:

The AlfaBet Soup cache will take you through 26 puzzle pages, one for each letter of the alphabet, which will eventually lead you to the cache coordinates.

Do not go to the posted coordinates. There is nothing hidden there.

This is a nice easy cache (NEC) location. Parking is usually plentiful after 5pm on weekdays, and throughout the weekend.
When returning the cache, please make sure it is well hidden.

Start with the letter “A”, at: alfabet.droppages.com/A.htm

This will load the “A” page, which displays the string “Aa”. Use this pattern to find the appropriate string for the following letter. In this case “Bb”. Then, all you need to do is substitute your answer at the end of the URL. That is: alfabet.droppages.com/Bb.htm

OK, I solved the first one for you, now go do the rest. The puzzles do get harder as you go along, so you might get stuck as some point. Don’t email me for help. Instead, please use the provided hint pages, by replacing the "htm" with "hint.txt" at the end of the URL. For example, for the letter “A” the hint page is at: alfabet.droppages.com/A.hint.txt
and for the letter “B” the hint page is at: alfabet.droppages.com/Bb.hint.txt

But not so fast. You must earn the hint… by solving a Sudoku puzzle (fill it so that every row, every column, and every 3x3 box contains the digits 1 through 9). Then use the nine digits of the Sudoku’s top row to get the hint for that page. So for the “A” page hint, you’d go to: alfabet.droppages.com/862951374.txt

Each letter has a different Sudoku puzzle, with a different solution. Fortunately for you, the “hints” will point you directly to the solution. The Sudoku puzzles are there to encourage you to solve this cache the intended way.
