Les Agites (1538 müM) ein 32km langer Pass im
Kanton Waadt, der die Orte Yvorne und La Lécherette am Col des
Mosses verbindet. Auf der Südseite steigt die immer schmaler
werdende Strasse in zahllosen Serpentinen über Corbeyrier hinauf
und durchquert an ihrer imposantesten Stelle einen etwa 300 Meter
langen Tunnel. Durch diesen Tunnel herscht an Samstag und Sonntagen
Wechselverkehr im Halbstunden Takt. Kurz nach dem oberen Ausgang
des Tunnels hast du eine phantastische Aussicht auf den Genfersee
und in die Alpenwelt. Auf der Höhe wird die Strasse allmählich
etwas breiter. In einer ausgebauten (militär-)Strasse folgt sie dem
Südufer des Lac de l'Hongrin bis nach La Lécherette knapp nördlich
am Col des Mosses.
In den Sommermonaten ist die Strasse Sa/So immer für den
Publikumsverkehr geöffnet. Unter der Woche kann sie jedoch gesperrt
sein, da sie durch Militärgebiet führt. Auf einigen Strassenkarten
ist diese Info falsch eingetragen!
Les Agites (1538 m) is a 32 km long pass road in Kanton Waadt. It
connects Yvorne with La Lécherette just a few km's north of "Col
des Mosses". On ist suthernly part the road climbs up pretty steep
in endless bends and U-turns. It gets more and more narrow until it
passes a 300m tunnel in a very rocky area. After that tunnel you'll
get a absolutly phantastic view to Lake Geneva. At weekends you may
pass the tunnel every 30 minutes. Than the road gets slowly better,
it follows Lake Hongrin (Lac de l'Hongrin) and ends in La
Lécherette.
Im sure you'll be surprised by the beauties of this pass
road!
Monday through Friday the road may be closed caused by military
reasons. (But it hasn't necessarily to be closed – some maps write
it wrong!)
