[CZ] Jde o bridlicový lom, delka 500 m, sirka
asi 30-70 m, hloubka asi 36 m. Nachazi se za obci Svobodne
Hermanice (ta se nacházi zhruba v pulce mezi Opavou a Bruntalem)
smerem na Staré Hermínovy a jeho romantiku kazi v poslednich letech
obnovená tezba. Nicmene je stale velkym lakadlem pro potapece,
kteri sem jezdi i z daleka. K lomu je v horni casti zakaz vstupu, i
pres to je to zname prirodni koupaliste, bez sluzeb. Keska je vsak
mimo tento zakaz. V blizkosti je take pekne, stare nádrazi – jeste
nedavno sem jezdil vlak jednou denne, nyni uz vubec. Ve vesnici je
hospoda. Keska se nachszi asi 100m od hlavniho lomu. Nejlepsi
pristup je cestou kolem nadrazi, kterou doporucuji.
[EN] It is a slate quarry 500 m long, width
about 30-70 m and depth about 36 m. You can find it behind Svobodné
Hermanice village (Svobodne Hermanice village is situated about
half way between cities of Opava and Bruntál) in the direction of
Staré Hermínovy. In the last years, quarry romanticism has been
damaged by renewal of the slate extraction. In spite of that
damage, the slate quarry is still big attraction for scuba divers
who come here from far away. It is prohibited to enter the upper
part of the quarry; however, the area is used as a natural open air
pool (unattended). The cache is outside the restricted area.
Nearby, there is also very nice old train station. Not long ago
there used to be one train a day, but not anymore. There is a pub
in the village. The cache is located approximately 100 meters from
the main quarry. The best access, which I recommend, is through the
road around the train station.
