Geocache Description:

This cache is not found at the coordinates above, nor are they a good place to park your car. You might wanna park in the "C" lot, shall we say.

As powerful as words can be, numbers make the world go 'round. It would be hard, for example, to imagine this particular planet without computers, calculators, and Garmin(!) GPS units. In order to solve R is for Romans, you'll need to complete the following two-part puzzle.

Part I: Know Your Figures
Think of a well-known American historical figure. This person's entire name (first and last) is eight characters long, of which six are consonants. What's intriguing is that each of the six consonants is a Roman numeral. Once you've solved this, move on to the next step.

Part II: Break Out the Pencil
A. (First consonant divided by second consonant) divided by 5
B. (Second consonant minus sixth consonant) divided by 10
C. Second consonant divided by fourth consonant
D. Fifth consonant divided by first consonant
E. (Second consonant minus 1) divided by 7
F. (Fourth consonant minus sixth consonant) minus 39

Insert the results into the following: N33 35.ABC, W117 39.DEF. Checksum for the A through F values is 18. Have fun!
