The Cache Across America Series: This is a series of caches that will take you on a caching tour of the entire United States. One cache is hidden in each of the 50 states. These caches each contain a numeric clue that will lead you toone final cache located in our nation's capitol upon completion of the series.

About this cache: In the fall of October 2002, Mn Dept of trasportation MNDot Project began work on a 5 year Construction Project which would completely redefine the entire area by widening this bridge, as well as other major improvements to the major infrastructure in the area. On Octber 22, 2002 a cache was placed here (one of the older caches in MN- GC9F78 ) in order to draw cachers to this view of its progrees. That cache has since been reported SBA, and after a lenghty search I was unable to recover the original, So... Since this bridge is scheduled to re-open in the fall of 2006 - as a Tribute tricolor, and as a celebration of the project ending, I thought this to be a good place for this hide. This hide offers an alternative, more scenic viewpoint from which to observe the bridge and the changes it has undergone. This is a longer than average walk along a paved walking/bike path with adequate rest stops along the way including park benches & picnic tables. Follow established trails after the pavement ends. No need to bushwhack until the last 100ft. Eagles nest in a nearby tree- hopefully you are lucky enough to see it while on the hunt. Container is a tricolor camo'd ammo can. Original contents: Log book, pen, pencil and misc. assorted goodies. Please rehide as well or better than found to avoid this cache being muggled.

Logging Requirements: Enjoy this cache as you would any other. If you are searching this cache as a partici pant in the Cache Across America series, please post a photo of yourself or a member of your group with the cache in your online log. If you for some reason are unable to meet the photo requirement, please make alternate arrangements to verify your find with the individual cache owner. There is no photo requirement for non-challenge participants.

Individual verification of all 50 state finds will be required before logging the series final.

If participating in the series, please take note of the three digit code located inside this cache. Save this code in a secure place. When you have visited all 50 caches, and have collected all 50 codes, you are welcome to seek and find the final cache! Good luck!
