Geocache Description:

*IMPORTANT!* Hours change between semesters. Please check here for current hours (box on the right, click "more" to show all days of the week). Plan to visit when the Literatures and Languages Library is open. Cache is approved by University Library administration.

Stealth is required for this cache, as it is a popular location. You may want to bring a writing utensil. Parking is available at paid meters ($0.25 = 20 mins). During the school year and especially during final exams (early December and early May), parking at this spot may be very difficult. You can park a few blocks away and walk, or many bus routes cover this area, and ample bike parking is available as well.

* Stage One - A micro. Here you will also get an important hint for the final location.

* Stage Two - A cipher! When you get there, sit on the center ring, face north, and solve the puzzle to find details about your final stop:

AB.C
D
E A = The number of letters in Dr. Goldberg's first name
B = The number of characters, including punctuation and spaces, in the name of R.A.S.
C = On the top panel, how many letters are in the top line? (Do not include spaces.)
D = The first three letters of Mr. Curtiss's first name
E = This was a gift from the class of what year? Add 90 to that year
Use this information, with the information you collected in the first stage, to make your way to the final stage.
(Bonus points if you find your way from Stage Two to Stage Three without going outdoors!)

* Stage Three - The final! Please enjoy one of our small library-related trade items, but no need to leave anything. Let us know when it gets low, so we can re-stock.

Take your time to browse and enjoy this historic, beautiful final location. Feel free to ask staff questions to learn more!

"The whole world here unlocks the experience of the past to the builders of the future."
