In Delta Watershed Park in North Delta
This cache was originally placed to honor my newly married niece and her husband in 2006 (hence the name of the cache), and I have decided to make this cache permanent for others to enjoy. This is my first hide (my brother pappy90 helped me with it).
The accuracy is not very good at the cache with the closed canopy, so it might be best to use the hint. It is only a few metres off the trail.
This beautiful park has many walking and biking trails through gorgeous towering second growth Douglas Fir trees.
This park is a favourite walking area for our family -- right in our backyard so to speak. Our niece will remember xmas 1992, when we had a snowfall. We actually were able to toboggan near the cache location on the water tank road (of course could feel the gravel beneath)!! The cache is located near the Boy Scout Pavilion. It is near the intersection of a main trail and the trail into the pavilion. It is best to access the cache from the pavilion side.
A good parking spot for this cache is at N49 06.865 and W 122 53.834 by an elementary school. The leisurely walk from here is about 500 metres. Stay right, and then take the next main left. You are looking for a camo tobacco container with numerous items to trade. There is a 2nd to find prize, as Farwood got the original FTF.
