Don't go to the dummy coordinates - it's a bit muddy out there.
You all know Grandalf likes a bit of a climb? Right!! And you know Grandalf also likes making puzzles? Right!! Well, this cache has both at the same time!!
Solve the puzzle to get the coordinates for the waypoint, where you will find the final cache coordinates (a bit higher!!).
Here's the puzzle:
In the 18 examples in the first two boxes below, a simple arithmetic operation on the 3-digit numbers leaves you with the 1-digit numbers. Figure out the required simple operation, and translate the ten numbers in the third box into the solution for the WP.
A giveaway clue - there can be no 9's in the solution.
The WP is found at S 43 AB.CDF E 172 GH.JKL

The WP is a small disc attached to a fencepost, showing the minutes parts of the final cache coordinates (add to S 43 E 172) (first and last digits of East minutes are 4 - engraving was not too clear).
When you reach the WP, be sure to read the nearby plaque for some interesting history - and then start climbing (20min). You will need to leave the obvious path.
The final cache is a 1-litre camo snaplock with logbook, pencil, sharpener, and a few goodies, including foreign coins and an emergency poncho.
