Geocache Description:

Busy sidewalk spy cache

Time to put your spy skills to work. This cache is outside tavern where Duncan Lee, special assistant to the director of the OSS (precurser to the CIA) was "cultivated" by Soviet courier Elizabeth Bently to spy for the Soviets during WWII.

The FBI and Mrs. Lee did not look too kindly on the situation.

Note: the cache is not attached the tavern or on any structure or furniture that is owned by the tavern. Look for an object on the sidewalk that looks decidedly out of place.

Your mission is to grab and return the cache in front of hoards of muggles dining and walking past you. Remember your spy training, prepare a good cover, and try to blend in. I placed this cache as I was pretending to use the object to stretch out after a run. This is a micro cache. Bring a pen. Good luck.

August 31st Update---I changed the hint to reflect changes to the cache site. AFTER you have found the cache, read the encrypted log of August 31st to find out how some kind-hearted muggles saved this cache.
