.5 mile hike to the top of a hill following cow paths in the Pruntytown WMA.
This cache is located in the part of the Pruntytown WMA that was once the prison farm. Parking is off Rt. 50 near the Rt 250N intersection at 39° 19.793N 080° 06.545W. There is a pass through to the right of the gate. Follow the dirt road until you reach the next gate. You have to go over or through it. Watch the fence, it's electric. Once you cross the gate, look to your left. The cache is located a little less than a 1/4 mile straight up the hill following cow paths. It's only a half mile from your car. Sounds easy, right? Have good hiking boots/shoes there are some thorns but I did hike it in shorts.
Update: There is a new fence near the top of the hill. You'll have to climb over the gate. Don't worry, you are still in the WMA. It looks like the area is about to be logged.
Reminder: This is in a WV Wildlife Management Area that is open for hunting. Please take the necessary precautions during hunting seasons.
