Geocache Description:

The above co-ordinates are NOT the co-ordinates for the cache, they are for nearby parking and also where you will find toilets & a visitor centre.

The cache coordinates are to be found within the story below.

We were recently told that we had been left something in the will of a long lost relative. We were quite shocked when it was revealed that we had been left a female cow called ‘Ermintrude’. After the shock subsided, we dutifully located a field in which Ermintrude could live and agreed to take turns in going out to feed her.

Less than a week later Ermintrude was looking very sad and not eating very much. Very worried we left our home address to approach a local farmer for advice. After having a look at her he told us that she was lonely and needed some company and friends. “Where on earth are we going to get more cows from?” mused Mrs Daves. It looked like there was nothing we could do.

“I’ll tell you what” said our farmer friend, “I can lend you some of my cows to keep her company but it will cost you a pint of beer or two for me and my wife!” We looked at each other and agreed. The farmer brought 5 cows over and let them into the field, immediately Ermintrude brightened up and rushed over to meet them. “That’s that sorted said the farmer, now what about those pints, there’s a pub over here”

Relieved that Ermintrude was happy we ordered some drinks, Mr Daves ordered a pint of 12th Man, Mrs Daves had a half of Music Man and the farmer and his wife ordered 8 pints of Cave-Man each!! Within an hour the farmer and his wife were getting pretty drunk. “Before I leave, I’d better write down which cows I’ve loaned to you” said the farmer. He ripped the back off a beermat and wrote down the following numbers:

21
96
353
367
700

Not wishing to come between them and their beer we left them our address and number, thanked them and said goodbye, promising to look after Ermintrude and her new found friends!

Note: A lot of trees in the area tend to play havoc with the gps signal on occasion, co-ords have been averaged so you shouldn't have too much problem with them.

Please take care as there are a lot of muggles in the area depending on the time of year. Make sure you hide the cache well after you find it as we've been muggled repeatedly!
