Team Trail Walker: This cache was located on one of the nicest trails in the park and many cachers over the past 10 + years have enjoyed both the cache and the trail. Unfortunately its time to archive this one. Thanks, to my best friend Molly who loved this trail and was the best hiking partner ever. Thanks to the many who have visited the cache over the years and a special thanks to Matt who made the last find and its final retrieval possible.

Geocache Description:

Located in Deer Creek Canyon Park, this cache offers the hiker a great trek on a maintained trail system through a wonderful "Front Range" ecosystem.

Park maps are available at the trailhead to help in planning your hike to this cache. With an elevation gain of just over 1000’, the 3-mile hike (one way) to the cache offers spectacular views of the city below and chances to view deer, elk, and turkey.

The cache is in a standard ammo box located a short distance off the trail. Take plenty of water and enjoy your hike.
